Hult Prize On-Campus Round was held on December 1st at IUJ

On Saturday, December 1st 2018, Hult Prize On-Campus Round was held at IUJ campus.

In partnership with the United Nations, the Hult Prize has been created as the world's largest student movement and crowd-sourcing platform dedicated to solving the most pressing social challenges on the planet. The Hult Prize Challenge is a year-long event. There are 4 main rounds: The On-Campus Round, The Regionals Round, The Accelerator Round, The Global Finals Round.

 

In the On-Campus Round at IUJ, 10 teams of IUJ students competed and present their game-changing ideas to solve the UN global challenge topic of this year: Building a social venture to create meaningful jobs for 10,000 youth within the next decade. The campus winner which got the judge's votes was team "i-UCARE" giving a creative idea to help refugees to get jobs. The winning team will represent IUJ on the Regional Rounds in March 2019.
