On November 2nd and 3rd, 2019, a two-day training program for 25 students from Yokohama Municipal Minami High School aiming at developing cross cultural understanding and socializing skill. It was the fourth year to hold the program since IUJ and Yokohama Minami High School started cooperating as SGU and SGH school.

Specially Appointed Professor Mohammed K. Ahmed, Graduate School of International Management, and Assistant Professor Michael Mondejar, Center for Language Education and Research, gave a lecture on "Cross Cultural Understanding" and "Socializing" respectively.

International students from IUJ* also joined these sessions as facilitator and the culturally diverse environment which they create enabled the participants to consider and learn "what is Japanese culture?," "what is different culture?," "what is like having difference with others?," and "how to approach to people whom we meet for the first time."

We will keep striving to lead globalizing in the society as one of Top Global Universities cooperating with Super Global High School which aims nurturing future global leaders.
