The Office of Top Global University Project at IUJ is pleased to announce the launch of the "IUJ Global Lecture Series insightworX 2022," where top-notch academicians and global opinion leaders are invited to IUJ to discuss and provide insights into key global issues facing our modern world. Thank you very much for the participation from many of you.

Its first event was held on April 27th, inviting Dr. Xavier Castañer, full professor of Strategy at HEC Lausanne, University of Lausanne, and Dr. Oliveira, Associate Professor at Tilburg University.

Thankfully, we had about 80 participants from both inside and outside IUJ.

Reserch on Interorganizational Relations: An Example of the Evolution of Management Research.

Abstract

Collaboration, coordination and cooperation are touted as solutions to address core issues in business, government and society. The popularity of these terms both in practice and research has also contributed to unclear definitions, thus making it hard to know what is meant by these terms and how they are understood by different parties. We draw on a systematic literature review to clarify the distinction among collaboration, coordination and cooperation. Our analysis motivates a reflection about the role of conceptual clarity for progress in management sciences as well as managerial practices.
