New International Dormitory to enhance cross-cultural Exchange at Osaka Ibaraki Campus
April 17, 2018

Following on from the award of an 'A' grade in the mid-term 'Top Global University Project' assessment, Ritsumeikan University took further steps in leading the way in the globalization of university education in Japan last month, with the official opening ceremony of the brand new OIC International House dormitory - a short walk from its Osaka Ibaraki Campus (OIC).
Constructed on schedule in just one calendar year, OIC International House has welcomed its first residents at the end of March 2018 and is made available for both international and domestic students alike. Comprising 168 individual rooms split into 28 units of 6, each unit is equipped with a modern communal living-dining space, a fully fitted kitchen including a large refrigerator, shared shower units, the latest in heated-seat electronic washlet toilets, with a comfortable bed, desk, light and storage space in individual rooms.
